The One day 4 hour online WordPress for Beginners training session, which excludes a 30 minute break in between.
This is an interactive group session, where you will be joining in via Zoom.
It’s a practical how to course and not a Powerpoint demonstration.

Following the below, you will have the basic skills required to setup and manage a simple site of your own.
You will be able to work along with me on your own computer, as we progress through the below.

The course covers the following basics:

– buying a domain and hosting plan
– installing WordPress
– basic setup and configuration
– installing essential plugins
– basic security
– creating a home page, about and contact pages
– creating a menu
– creating a blog and first blog post
– installing Woocommerce for creating online stores
– creating a product
– integrating a payment gateway to accept credit card transactions
– questions

Training fee: R150.00 once off.

– No other costs involved, unless during the training session you intend on buying a domain and one month of hosting. (max R140.00 extra for .co.za domain paid to whoever you buy domain and hosting from)

Those who confirm attendance and pay will be sent the Zoom meeting link and meeting passcode. Zoom is free to use and download web conferencing app. I will forward you the link to download.

We also offer one-on-one sessions at R200.00 p/hour, as well as a WordPress Advanced group classes should you be interested.
